LAKESHORE EAST
APARTMENTS FOR RENT

The Lakeshore East apartments for rent are filled with young students and professionals who commute to nearby colleges, hospitals, and business headquarters. Not only will you find sweeping views of skyscrapers, but you’ll also find panoramic views of the lakefront, Navy Pier, the Chicago River, and Millennium Park. The views don’t get much more Chicago-y than this! From this location, you’ll catch plenty of Navy Pier’s fireworks shows, which burst every Wednesday and Saturday in the summer.

These apartments range from the most modern of suites to the most conventionally comfortable and sell for a wide array of prices. Ultra-modern suites have clean white surfaces and strong lines creating a clutter free space. Floor-to-ceiling windows let lots of light in and can offer a fantastic view of the city from a bird’s vantage, given you’re on a higher floor. These buildings put an emphasis on community and provide residents with ample opportunity to meet their neighbors at the on-site pool, gym, lounge, or patio.

LIFESTYLE + AMENITIES

NIGHTLIFE

Music fans will love the proximity to Grant Park’s Lollapalooza, an incredibly popular three-day music fest that features international acts like Coldplay, Lady Gaga, and Muse as well as numerous up-and-coming bands. Theater lovers need only walk west on Randolph St. to find multiple first-class theaters where Broadway shows tour all year round. As it’s just around the corner, art enthusiasts must swing by the world-renowned Art Institute of Chicago where you can admire at George Seurat’s “A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte” as Ferris Bueller did.

PARKS

When it comes to parks, residents of Lakeshore East, Chicago rentals are the luckiest in the city. Lake Shore East Park is a low-traffic green space that lies sunken among skyscrapers in the middle of the neighborhood. It’s beautiful and dog friendly. The park gives the area a less congested and more community-like feel. Higher-end restaurants, like 3 Forks, line the manicured space, as well as an especially gorgeous (and huge!) Mariano’s grocery store.

You’re also steps away from Chicago’s most famous park, Millennium Park, and the brand new Maggie Daley Park (named after a former mayor’s wife). Millennium Park hosts free concerts and movies all summer long as well as bigger paid events like Chicago Gourmet, a foodie festival.

Transit

Renters in the New East Side/Lakeshore East neighborhood will find it’s incredibly walkable, but those who need public transportation will soon learn that busses run frequently north and south along many of the major streets downtown. You’re also closely located to the CTA’s famous Loop, where you will find direct access to all of the El train lines. Going south to Chinatown, north to Wrigleyville, or into the West Loop is incredibly easy and convenient.

RAVE REVIEWS

“I was moving from New York to Chicago and only had 1 day to visit and find an apartment. Dorothy provided so much detail about the potential apartments via email weeks ahead and I was able to narrow my choices down by the time I arrived. We didn’t have to worry about finding each building since we were driven around to the different apartments. I knew the last one we saw was the perfect for me! I signed the apartment that day. I was able to go home stress free and excited about my new adventure in a new city thanks to Dorothy’s help.”
