After a long day of work, sweat it out in the fitness center. It’s outfitted with everything you need to stay fit, including a spin studio with Peloton bikes and Fitness on Demand classes.
When it’s time to play and relax, head to the rooftop. 1140’s outdoor pool and hot tub even took our top spot for the best pool with a view. Its unobstructed views of Chicago and peek of Lake Michigan are out of this world gorgeous. The rooftop also has a terrace with grilling stations, cabanas and never-ending views of the city. Inside, practice your skeeball and pool skills in the game room. Invite your friends over to catch a football game or the latest episode of the Bachelorette in the TV lounge. There’s even a private bar outfitted with a custom wine station. And finally, for the musicians (or wanna-be-musicians!), Eleven40 has a jam room equipped with everything you need to live out your rock-star dreams.
Moving in with your dog? Eleven40 is a dog-friendly apartment in South Loop, and is equipped with a dog run and dog spa. With lots of dogs living at Eleven40, you’ll both make new friends as you explore and play together.

Eleven40 is located in popular South Loop Chicago! If you’re trying to decide what downtown neighborhood to rent in, this is an excellent choice. Bordering the heart of the city, South Loop is close to everything, and Eleven40’s location is my favorite in the ‘hood.
When you rent at Eleven40, you can walk to all of Chicago’s best parks, entertainment and even grocery stores. Walk less than a mile north, and you’re in the Loop, which makes 1140 Apartments a great place to rent if you work downtown.

Live at Eleven40, and South Loop’s yummiest restaurants are just a stroll down the street. Some of my favorite spots to eat at when I’m in the neighborhood are:
